The sports hall at the Maria Montessori Comprehensive School on Rosmarinstraße in Düsseldorf-Flingern was renovated in 2023. The radiators located behind wooden cladding in the parapet area gave way to a ball-proof Metawell® radiant heating ceiling with acoustic function. Visible concrete beams divide the ceiling into a total of five zones. A ceiling construction with shadow gaps to the joists and adjacent walls was installed in each zone. The Metawell® sports hall elements are mounted along the facade and are cut to the clear dimensions of each zone on site. Copper pipes on the rear are now used to heat the hall at low flow temperatures. Installation is carried out on standard drywall substructures with almost invisible screw fittings.
