Metawell GmbH metal sandwich technology, located in Neuburg/Donau (Bavaria/Germany), produces the purely metal sandwich panel Metawell^® and sells it either directly or via partners in Europe, Asia and Northern America. The plant is equipped with the requested technology to also machine the sandwich panel so that not only semi-finished panels but also tailor-made constructional elements can be supplied.

It has always been the company's aim to provide a high-quality product and find technically and commercially convincing solutions for all areas where functional and optical requirements have to be met while keeping the weight low.

The quality of the products is safeguarded on the one hand by constant checks of the suppliers regarding their suitability, on the other hand by permanent controls of the manufacturing processes.

The products

Metawell^® sandwich panels

Metawell^® is manufactured in a continuous production process using a hot-melt glue to fix one or two thin metal sheets out of aluminium to a corrugated thin aluminium core. Thanks to this patented production process the panels can also be supplied in special lengths.
Its unique structure makes Metawell^® a very light but nevertheless extremely rigid sandwich panel which, particularly when used in big formats, allows for considerable weight savings. The fact that Metawell^® can be shaped or laminated increases the versatility of the panels. Thus designers, planners and engineers of all branches have a material at hand with convincing dynamic characteristics, an attractive appearance and numerous approvals, which additionally can be recycled. This is why Metawell^® has been used for years now and allover the world in the sectors transportation (railway industry, utility cars, shipbuilding), machine industry, radiant ceilings, façades and interior works.
