Performance

Technical planners calculate the requested volume current in function of the temperature difference that is needed and the expected heat load. This calculation presents the thermodynamic view of temperature conditioning in a building.

It is the supplier's task to technically translate the scientific calculation. For that he has to dimension his radiant ceiling system in a way that the expected return temperature really turns up with the given values. Since numerous conditions such as the adjustment of the hydraulic system, warranting the maximum pressure loss, the influence of ceiling apertures and the air currents in the room have to be considered, this task is rather complex.

Kühlleistung

Radiant ceiling systems with low power reserves may show the requested performance at the beginning of the planning works, but with an increasing amount of restrictions they can not longer perform as requested. Therefore it is recommendable to include a sufficient safety margin right from the beginning.

Another difficulty presents the diversity of requirements a modern radiant ceiling system has to face. Apart from conditioning the room temperature it must meet the demands of room acoustics, lightning and architecture.

Durchbiegung

The Metawell® radiant ceiling system has been developped with respect to all these requirements. It offers to all those involved a series of options to make their choice.

For a more technical layout we would ask you to contact our engineers. With the help of technical drawings, dimensioning aids and test certificates they are able to provide profound and proven details regarding all relevant parameters such as cooling and heating performance, pressure loss, deflection, sound absorption and light reflection.
