Interior constructions
Metawell® is particularly suited for interior construction works when big-sized elements with demanding surfaces are requested. Thanks to the low weight and the high rigidity of Metawell® large panels with high spans can be used on light sub-constructions.
As Metawell® can be processed rather easily with traditional tools, adjustment works at site are no problem. Additionally the use of big, rigid and stiff elements helps to reduce assembly work. Metawell® panels can be painted or printed on, or may be laminated with decorative films and other materials.
Shaping
Metawell® Aluflex is an ideal material to realize bendings around one axis easily, as is the case for any rounding or the cladding of columns. Aluflex has only one cover sheet glued to the corrugation which allows to make the shaping either elastical around one axis parallel to the corrugation tops or permanent (plastic) in perpendicular direction. Thus a form-stable and light shaped element can be created which is excellently suited as ceiling or cladding element. |

Big even surfaces
With regard to their levelness even in big sizes and the diversity of coatings and laminations that can be done Metawell® panels are the optimum choice for e.g. interior wall linings or flat cladding elements.
Also for ceiling systems (suspended or in frames) as well as for ceiling islands Metawell® panels offer decisive advantages. Thanks to the high loadbearing capacity lights can be inserted directly into the ceiling. Since the panels have a phantastic heat conductivity they are ideal for heating and cooling ceilings (radiant ceiling). |
Load-bearing slabs
The high load-bearing capacity and the directional stiffening of the corrugation make for the use of Metawell® in constructions with high point or surface loads (e.g. maintenance doors in floors or access ramps for handicapped people). |
Approvals
Metawell® panels meet the fire class B1 (foll. DIN 4102). |
